Andrew House, The Head of PlayStation to Leave Sony Soon

Sony has gained immense popularity through its latest and unique gadgets. This company never compromised with the worthy features and designs of their tech gadgets. PlayStation has been one of the Sony’s exclusive gadgets gaining enormous popularity in the tech world, within no time. But reports confirmed that Andrew House, Sony’s global chief executive for PlayStation business, is leaving his role at the company.

House seems happy with the success stories he shared with Sony. He saw the overwhelming response of people for PlayStation 4, which made Sony the czar of the gaming industry.

House stated, ” I’m tremendously proud of what we’ve built with PlayStation and Sony Interactive Entertainment. PlayStation has been a huge part of my life for more than 20 years. But with the business having achieved record-breaking success, now seemed to be the right time for me to pursue new challenges.”

Andrew House started his career with Sony in 1990, where he took charge of the gaming business. He ultimately became the global head of Sony Interactive Entertainment, a relatively autonomous, California-based subsidiary handling both PlayStation and Sony Network.

One of the spokespeople in Sony told the sources that House wants to take a break for sharing some time with his family. He further stated that House will be back in his career of entertainment industry soon.

CEO Hirai of Sony said, “I’m extremely grateful to Andy for the great contribution he has made to evolving the PlayStation business, and firmly positioning it as one of the drivers of our future growth.”

Eventually, Andrew House has not disclosed any further statement regarding his future comeback. Sony is sure going to miss House for their steps ahead in gaming and entertainment world.
