Xiaomi in August launched it flagship smartphone with China made OLED display and dual cameras, but it restricted the handset to its hometown. Now rumors suggests that the company is focusing on its extended version Redmi Note Pro 2. The leakster @Kjuma who is gradually building a reputation for genuine leaks posted a snapshot revealing tons of details of the upcoming device.
This time the Xiaomi ditched the dual camera system and added only single digital eye on the rear side which uses a better sensor with 12-mega pixel Sony IMX 362, 1/2.55 inch sensor, 1.4µm pixel and dual auto focus. The phone will come with a brushed metal finish at the back.
The Redmi Pro 2 will be launched with a Snapdragon 660 processor this time. The Snapdragon 660 aka MSM 8976 Plus will take over from the 653 and 652 as the mid-range chip for 2017. The battery has been changed with size, as it is larger now with 4,500 mAh and the display appears to be bigger than 5.5-inches.
