Enhancing Unity Engine with MediaTek’s Dimensity 9200/9200 + Chips

As popularly known for creating the Unity engine, which is widely used for developing video games and other interactive 3D applications, Unity China (Unity Technologies China) will use MediaTek’s duo Dimensity 9200/9200+ chips to enhance the Unity engine.

Leading support for mobile hardware ray tracing technology is provided by MediaTek’s flagship Dimensity 9200 and Dimensity 9200+ mobile CPUs. The Unity engine has been used to create a number of mobile games that utilize Dimensity 9200 series mobile CPUs. Turn on the terminal device’s ray-tracing feature.

Moreover, developers using the Dimensity 9200 series mobile CPUs now have access to Ray Query technology built on Vulkan and Unity URP, according to Unity China. Additionally, it enables soft shadow (Shadow), ambient occlusion (AO), refraction (Refraction), reflection (Reflection), and other ray tracing effects as standard features for developers.
