"Apple has decided to postpone the release of its first augmented reality device to a later date, probably June of the year."

Ming-Chi Kuo said

Originally, the upcoming Apple headset was supposed to be announced at the ongoing Mobile World Congress (MWC 2023) in Spain. Unfortunately, it didn't make its way there.

However, according to Ming-Chi Kuo, the postponement was caused by missing software and hardware resources but will arrive this year.

Just last week, Ming-Chi Kuo, pointed out that Luxshare ICT is likely to develop Apple’s first-generation AR/MR headset in the first quarter of 2023.

The VR headset is expected to be based on the Apple M2 processor with two cameras on the belt; while the device will be equipped with several 4K displays.

As it stands, the exact launch date is still unknown, but the headset is rumoured to price around $3,000 with an integrated battery.
