Apple VR Headset to Cost $3000 with 2-hour Battery Life

Apple’s upcoming mixed-reality AR/VR headset is rumoured to have a 2-hour battery life and is priced at $3,000.

Mark Gurman, a popular tipster disclosed this in his latest survey noting that the device will require an external battery pack to work.

According to him, the upcoming Apple AR/VR headset will have a 2-hour battery life per-battery pack.

The pack, which is said to be similar to the MagSafe Battery Pack for iPhone, is reportedly designed to be charged via USB-C.

Also, the battery Pack is said to be powered up using the same adapter included with the MacBook Pro.

German added that the headset will have two ports: a USB-C port for data transfer and a proprietary magnetic port to attach the battery pack. 

Meanwhile, Apple is expected to officially unveil the AR/VR headset this year at the WWDC23 in June.
