Asus has announced the launch of a new special edition model of WiFi router models- the ROG Rapture GT-AX11000 Pro WiFi Router.

The new special edition was jointly developed by Asus and Evangelion. The Neon Genesis Evangelion is an iconic Anime series from the 90s.

The new GT-AX11000 Pro router’s multiple antennas feature the iconic purple and green colour scheme and its main body also features the EVA-01 etching on it.

Additionally, it has a dual-band router that supports both 2.4GHz and 5Ghz frequency bands and promises to reach up to 11,000Mbps speeds.

Under the hood, the router is equipped with a 16nm quad-core 2.0GHz Broadcom processor along with 1GB of RAM and 256MB of flash storage.

The new WiFi router will go on sale in China starting on March 13 and will be available for a price tag of $507.
