Instagram adding caption stories

In a bid to make its video Stories and Reels more accessible, Instagram is reportedly working on the ability to add a caption to Stories.

As confirmed by tipster Alessandro Paluzzi, the ability will come with two options to add a caption - Your story and Group profiles.

With this feature, you can share posts and stories directly to the group profile and anyone can see what you share.

Additionally, the ability will make it easier for users who are hard of hearing or deaf to engage with video content.

When the ability is finally released, the ability Instagram users will also be allowed to watch without having the sound on.
