Instagram Testing Privacy Tool for Controlling Like Visibility
Instagram is testing a privacy tool to control who sees your likes on others' posts and reels.
The tool allows users to hide their likes or limit visibility to close friends or those they follow.
Instagram previously allowed users to see posts liked and commented on by those they followed, but this feature was removed in 2019.
Users can still see someone's likes by checking the accounts they follow and looking at the post's likes.
The new privacy tool, spotted by a user, is in development and is expected to be available in the coming weeks.
Instagram users can manage their like visibility for everyone, followers close friends, or hide likes altogether.
