iPhone 15 Pro Could Fast As M1 MacBook

A new leak has just revealed that the upcoming iPhone 15 Pro could be as fast as an M1 MacBook

DCInside, a Chinese outlet reported that the iPhone 15 Pro will not use the A16 Bionic used in the iPhone 14 Pro but rather A17 Bionic.

The outlet noted that the A17 Bionic will boast a 20% more powerful CPU than its predecessor, the A16 Bionic.

DCInside reports that the A17 Bionic earns a single-core score of 3019 and a multi-core score of 7860 on Geekbench 6, whereas the A16 Bionic scores 2504 and 6314, respectively.

Accordingly, the iPhone 15 Pro and much-rumoured iPhone 15 Ultra should enjoy sizable speed gains over the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max.

As a matter of fact, these rumoured figures are with a pinch of salt, but it’s exciting to think that the Pro-grade iPhone 15s might sport benchmark scores to rival Apple’s M1 MacBooks.
