Twitter Revenues Fell 40% Compared To Dec. 2021

A report from Wall Street Journal shows that the revenue of Twitter fell about 40% in December versus the same month in 2021.

The report says the slide came after many advertisers slashed spending following Elon Musk's takeover last October.

According to the journal, half of Twitter's top 100 advertisers pulled out in the first month after Musk's takeover resulting in the revenues falling.

The Journal also noted that more than two-thirds of Twitter's top 100 advertisers before the acquisition had not returned by late February.

Last October, the world's richest man, Elon Musk acquired the social media platforms in a deal worth 44 billion dollars.

As per the media reports both the total revenue and adjusted profits compared with December 2021 declined.
