WhatsApp has introduced support for multiple accounts on Android, allowing users to use two different accounts on the same smartphone.
This feature, available to WhatsApp beta users, is now rolling out to the stable channel.
Users will need a second phone number, SIM card, or a phone with multi-SIM or eSIM support to set up the second WhatsApp account.
Even if the second SIM card is on a different device, users should be able to set up the second account by receiving a security code for login.
Privacy and notification settings for both accounts can be controlled separately.
The feature may take a week or two to reach all Android users worldwide.
