Foxconn in Talks for $200M India Plant

Foxconn Industrial Internet, a subsidiary of Foxconn, is in discussions with Tamil Nadu state in India to invest around $200 million in establishing a new electronic components plant.

FII's CEO, Brand Cheng, and other company representatives recently met with Tamil Nadu officials to explore investment opportunities.

The government of Tamil Nadu confirmed the talks without divulging further details about the potential investment.

The plant is planned to be completed by 2024, with potential additional investments.
