Google Lens is getting prepped for its release, and it’s evident in its new feature. Its predecessor,  Goggle is available already to the users of first-gen and second-gen Pixel phones. But, it is enclosed within the Photos app and hasn’t yet shown up in Assistant (this was promised in May at I/O). The delay is based on a reason among a few, where Google Photos v.38 gets a new animated show that plays during the Lens analysis of the photo.

In the video below, we see an effective neural network-ish overlay that is represented by colorful dots jumping on the photo that’s being analyzed in the latest Google Photos provides a more attractive visual as compared to its older version.

For now, as per tests by experts in the market, the latest Google Photos APK is compatible with the Pixel phones only, so far. According to Google employees, Assistant will get the Lens within a few weeks now. If you are looking to test the new Lens animation, get the Google Photos v3.8 from APK Mirror.
