Huawei and Turkcell Collaborate to Introduce the Largest 5G-Oriented All-Cloud Core Network

Must Read

As of late, the Istanbul-based leading carrier, Turkcell, made the announcement about its collaboration with Huawei to build a 5G-oriented all-cloud core network to launch the largest Cloud EPC Network across the globe. Coming off as a first-of-its-kind, the all-cloud Core Network has key global technologies for 5G evolution, which entails commercial cloud-based software architecture, control and user plane separation (CUPS), and A/B test. This goes on to mean that the progress graph for the top global carriers has had an upward curve in areas of architecture transformation, network architecture transformation, and the O&M transformation for 5G evolution, which is a laudable step up in the domain of mobile technologies.

This collaboration will enable a reliable cloud solution to Turkcell provided by Huawei to achieve the network transformation strategy and smooth evolution to 5G.

1. Cloud Native software structure: Zeroing on the technologies, the Cloud Native multi-point disaster recovery technology helps build a more elastic network, ensuring a highly reliable running environment for live network services. This software structure can withstand multiple points of failure without disrupting the system’s smooth running.

2. CUPS network architecture: CUPS architecture is used by Huawei to shorten transmission distances, simplify O&M, and dish out the best service experience to subscribers, which will go a long way in maintaining its subscriber base in the long run.

3. A/B test: The Huawei solution also provides an industry-leading A/B test solution to automate O&M and help carriers perform hitless upgrades with minimal resources, optimizing the mobile carrier performance for subscribers.

This collaboration is just one bit of Huawei’s more than 490 contracts for all-cloud core networks worldwide, helping carriers build an elastic, smooth, strong, super fast, dynamic, and all-cloud core network and steadily evolve to the 5G network. The future of ICT devices and smart devices lies in the 5G network. With its collaborative contracts and core solutions for the all-cloud core network, Huawei is geared up to reach its envisioned goal of ‘Building a fully connected, intelligent world.’
