The first three Snap Games have been made available for download on both mobile platforms: Snake Squad, Zombie Rescue Squad, and Bitmoji Party. Something quite similar to Pokemon Go where you can team up with your friends and play together. And just like Facebook games, you invite your friends to play your favorite games.

The games let you battle against your friends in the Snap games like Bitmoji Party mini-games using your Bitmoji character to work as a team to defeat zombies from spreading. Some games allow you to invite up to 28 Snapchatters to spectate, and some allow up to eight players at a time.

The setup is simple, and Snap, the company behind Snapchat, will continue adding more games as time goes on. Chat among players is possible during play sessions, both through video or text means.

The games are pretty intriguing. The Snake Squad is a game where players can level up their snake by eating pellets while avoid hitting enemy snake trails and seeking to have them hit their own trail. In this game, up to five players can join a session.

In Zombie Rescue Squad which is a two-dimensional shooter, it pairs up to four characters progress to face off against randomly spawning zombies. The gunfire is automated, and players can retrieve grenade pickups to throw at enemies or use a charge-up attack. Bitmoji Party lets up to eight players compete in various 7-versus-1 challenges. One player has to prevent as many opponents from achieving their objectives as possible while the remaining players have to survive to get as many coins as possible to win the competition.

Early last month, Snapchat had announced its first original game, Bitmoji Party, along with a handful of titles from third-party developers. The project took its early step in earnest around two years ago. First, the company acquired PlayCanvas who are the creators of an HTML5 game engine that would serve as the core of the new venture. Then, the company snapped up Pretty great which is an Australian studio helmed by the former leads behind mobile hits Fruit Ninja and Jetpack Joyride.

The first result of those acquisitions is Bitmoji Party, a collection of mini-games that launched last month. All the three games by Snapchat will no wonder intrigue users to be logged in to the app that is available for download on both iOS and Android.
