Netgear announced this week its new kit Nighthawk Pro Gaming Mesh Wi-Fi System (XRM570), which is nothing more than a bundle of a Nighthawk router with a signal extender. According to the company, with its product, “players anywhere will benefit from the freedom to play and stream wherever they want.”

The router in the bundle is the Nighthawk Pro Gaming XR500, and the extender is the Nighthawk Mesh EX7700 Tri-band Wi-Fi. The products are compatible with Mesh wireless technology, which promises to extend without loss of speed or packets. But of course, an extender can only be as good as the router allows, and so it causes a bit of strangeness that the XR500 router is dual-band, not tri-band as the extender. It features a dual-core 1.7GHz processor for signal management and accompanies features like Geo Filtering, Hybrid VPN, QoS, and Network Monitoring.

The new Nighthawk Pro Gaming Mesh Wi-Fi System resolves the challenges that consumers are facing when it comes to the Nighthawk Pro Gaming Mesh Wi-Fi System. concerns of a modern home while also taking care of the specific needs of the player, keeping each member of the household connected and happy – David Henry, Senior Vice President of Home Connected Products at Netgear

Another differential of the kit is the compatibility with DumaOS software, made with gamers in mind to configure the network. According to Netgear, the software works in collaboration with products to minimize ping and reduce lag, improving the online gaming experience anywhere in the house.

The complete Nighthawk Pro Gaming Mesh Wi-Fi System (XRM570) kit starts shipping today for the suggested retail price of $399.
