The all-new electric vehicle, Uniti One, is launched in the U.K. It will go on sale by mid-2020, like any other electric car of this era. The Uniti One will come equipped with LED daytime running lights, power-adjustable side mirrors, an electrochromic panoramic sunroof, tinted electric windows, a heated front windscreen, and a rear-view camera, and for the inside of the car. It may feature a customizable ambient lighting system, a touchscreen infotainment system and the choice of either dark or light-colored upholstery.

The backseat is foldable which helps to increase boot space when folded. The Uniti One offers 155 liters of boot space in general but when the rear seat is folded the storage capacity increases up to 760 liters.

Some extra features which the customers will be able to enjoy are LED headlamps, a heated driver’s seat, air conditioning, and an upgraded six-speaker stereo system. The customers will also have the option to choose either a comfort-spec interior or a utility-spec interior with durable rubber matting.

The electric motor is at the back of the car, powered by a 12kWh lithium-ion battery pack. The car can go from 0 to 31 mph in just 4.1 seconds, from 0 to 62 mph in 9.9 seconds. The top speed for the car is 75 mph. To charge the batteries, Uniti One is offering a 7kW wall box. However, the 50kW fast charger can also be used to charge the batteries.

The 12kWh battery can be charged from 20 percent to 80 percent in just nine minutes, and the 24kWh unit recovers the same amount of charge in seventeen minutes.

Uniti was supposed to be a research project first taken shape at the Lund University in Sweden. Since then the project has expanded and has been grown into a car business on the environmentally friendly side.

Norfolk, England is the major space where Uniti One’s development is taking shape to meet market demand. Uniti has plans for expanding this business and therefore establishing more assembly plants which would lower down its costs. The pricing for this car starts from £15,100.
