Huawei has finally launched its virtual reality headset, the Huawei VR Glass. The VR headset had been a much-awaited once since it was announced.

Huawei had been offering affordable gadgets in its homeland, China since its inception, and as such has made a name for themselves in no time. The new VR headset, the Huawei VR Glass is priced at 2,999 Yuan, and will finally go on sale in China from December.

What sets apart the Huawei VR Glass from the heavyweights of the VR market such as Oculus and HTC Vivo Pro, is Huawei’s new innovation which has reduced the thickness of the glass. The lens barrel is only 26.6 mm thick which is almost one-third of Oculus Quest and HTC Vivo Pro.

It weighs only 166 grams and the temples can be folded for space efficiency. In addition to it, it has a distance adaptation of 55 to 71 mm. Huawei claims that the glasses can be adjusted in the range of 0-degree to 700-degree myopia, 55mm to 71mm distance adaptive.

It has a screen resolution of 3200 x 1600 pixels with up to 1058 PPI pixel density, a 90-degree field-of-view, 70/90 Hz refresh rate. It also offers 3D sound effects and comes with IMAX screen-like experience.

Huawei’s content resources will give its users access to 30,000 hours of VR video along with three major VR live broadcast platform and more than 100 virtual reality games.

The Huawei VR Glass comes equipped with dual speakers bound to satisfy the needs of its users with a wide sound field, built-in dual SmartPA. It also offers a 3D sound stereo. The VR itself can be connected with Bluetooth Headphones.

The protein leather material is the perfect material to ensure that whoever is wearing it finds it comfortable. The elastic mask magnetic suction can be removed from its place. The people with myopic vision do not need to wear additional glasses to enjoy their VR experience.
