If you own a car and suffer from car parking hassle, then EasyPark and Parkopedia are here to solve your worries. The joint venture of EasyPark and Parkopedia has launched a car paring solution with an in-car payment app. This helps the drivers automatically start parking and pay the charges via their MercedesPay account.

The app is very user-friendly. Once a driver parks the car in a paid on-street parking zone, the app detects the car. The driver receives payment details on the screen and has only to confirm the parking. S/he receives an electronically generated transaction receipt as and when s/he starts the car to leave the parking zone. S/he then pays it through the MercedesPay account. This helps the drivers to pay exactly the amount charged for the parking session and saves all the time not to hassle with the smartphone parking apps.

The app which is widely being used in around 200 locations in Germany is rolling out across Europe. EasyPark is an award-winning company. It has been providing services to the drivers since 2001. It works in around 1400 cities in 18 countries, is already a head-turner, and makes urban life easier.

Organizations like Audi, Apple, BMW, Coyote, Ford, Garmin, GM, Jaguar, Land Rover, Mercedes-Benz, Peugeot, Sygic, TomTom, Toyota, Volkswagen, Volvo, and many others use Parkopedia, the world’s leading parking service provider.

The Mercedes-Benz brand is synonymous with world-class design and the highest quality driving experience. Bringing the latest technology into cars to address the main parking pain points, the time drivers have to spend on finding and paying for the parking, this innovative feature allows for a smooth and easy user experience that saves time and effort for users – Johan Birgersson, the CEO of ParkEasy

In the past, we have come across such clubbing up of companies to provide in-car payments. In 2017, Shell and Jaguar came together with an app that allowed buying fuel on-board. However, this discouraged the drivers to buy fuel from retail shops. As a result, they did not support this car’s infotainment system.

We are honored that Mercedes-Benz has extended their trust in-park media and EasyPark to offer on-demand parking as part of Mercedes-Benz’s comprehensive in-car parking services, and look forward to continuing to work together to further enhance the in-car experience for drivers – Hans Puvogel, the COO of Parkopedia

Past is past, the new generation is now all geared up to use the new app as both the companies are uncompromisingly committed to innovate and excel in customer services. Their new app will help you to access the quickest, cheapest and easiest in-car parking. Happy parking!
