Being one of the most scoring subjects, Mathematics happens to be a fun learning subject for many students. Once students begin to understand the concepts clearly, they are able to relate those concepts in real-life situations as well.

Identify the weightage of each section:
It is very important for students preparing for the class 10 maths board exams, to be familiar with the weightage of various sections of the syllabus. Once you get the updated syllabus for the 10th board exams, make a note of the sections with maximum weightage. You may either write down the individual weightage of chapters or sections in the index page of your book or you may note it down in a separate sheet of paper.

Most students tend to have a notion that plotting graphs is an easy job and they keep it for the last-minute revisions. For example, the graph scales you choose differ from question to question.
Graph-plotting is one of the most scoring sections in the Mathematics syllabus of class 10 and yet a silly mistake can make you lose all the marks. Once you have a good grip on plotting graphs, selecting the correct scale for any graph will become easy.
Practice from reference books
The syllabus of Mathematics for class 10 CBSE board exams coincides with the contents of the NCERT maths book for class 10. Students are always advised to practice all the sums from the NCERT maths book first so as to have a clear understanding of all the concepts.
