Samsung added four new models to its Curd Maestro Refrigerators range. Samsung had introduced the Curd Maestro Refrigerators in January 2020 and it was specially designed for the Indian market. The model received an extremely positive response and the demand for a larger capacity model had risen.
And now, Samsung’s Curd Maestro™ Refrigerator models will also come in 386 liters and 407-liter capacities. The existing models were 244 litre, 265 liters, 314 litre, and 336-liter capacities. As an add-on, Samsung will provide the new models with a stainless steel container for holding the curd.
The Curd Maestro collection has been specially designed for the need of an Indian family. Samsung claims that these refrigerators have revolutionized the usage of a conventional refrigerator. Now the fridge is not just a container for preserving food, but can also be used for preparing food.
According to Samsung “Process of curd making in Curd Maestro™ Refrigerators is recommended by ICAR-National Dairy Research Institute (NDRI), Karnal.”
Using the Curd Maestro™, one needs to boil and cool the milk and mix the curd culture manually while Curd Maestro™ does the most crucial part of the job – fermentation. It will not only ferment the curd but will store it too. Curd Maestro™ makes curd with the same consistency each time and eliminates all the hassle of curd making in different weather conditions. Curd Maestro™ enables curd preparation in 6.5 to 7.5 hours – 6.5 hours for soft curd, 7.5 hours for thick curd.
Samsung’s Curd Maestro refrigerators come with the company’s proprietary innovations such as Convertible 5-in-1 Technology, Twin Cooling Plus, Digital Inverter Technology and Stabilizer Free Operation. Let’s take a look at what these features add.
Convertible 5-in-1 technology
This technology offers different conversion modes to address the complex storage needs – Normal, Seasonal, Extra Fridge, Vacation, and Home Alone. This helps in keeping the food as fresh as possible and is energy efficient too.
Twin cooling plus
The Twin Cooling Plus feature ensures separate airflows in both the fridge and freezer. It maintains the integrity of food in the fridge and freezer, and prevents unpleasant or foul smells from moving between the two compartments. There are two evaporators to manage the fridge and freezer area separately. These also help in minimizing temperature fluctuation and maintain an optimum humidity level of up to 70% for effective preservation.
Digital inverter technology
The digital inverter technology minimizes the noise and regulates the refrigerator performance, keeping it stable and energy-efficient. According to Samsung, the Digital Inverter Compressor has a 10-year warranty and is also awarded a 21-year durability certification by the Association for Electrical, Electronic & Information Technologies in Germany (Verband Deutscher Elektrotechniker – VDE).
Stabilizer free operation
As the name suggests, the feature protects the refrigerator from sudden power fluctuations. The refrigerator can operate in this mode in the voltage range of 100 to 300V. In the case of a high voltage, this feature automatically cuts the power supply to prevent any electrical damage.
