Xiaomi is expanding its business to include gadgets that will work fine in households. The Chinese tech giant recently proposed a new series of gadgets to tackle the cold. After the announcement, the company is currently working on a small accessory that will surely win everyone’s hearts. The new small gadget announced by the company is the new mini Xiaomi Mijia Desktop Heater Desk Stove. It will make an excellent companion for working or studying on a desk during the cold winter season.
The new mini desktop heater from Xiaomi Mijia comes with a width of 132mm. Its size will make it the best choice for tiny spaces as it can be positioned anywhere without taking up too much space. The heater itself is made of high strength flame retardant plastic. As of now, the Mijia Desktop Heater is available only in one color – white, and sports a minimal design that has come to be sort of the brand-mark for the Mijia home products.
Inside the device is a heating system in PTC ceramic with a small fan. The Xiaomi Mijia desk heater is made of fireproof materials of degree V0 – this combined with the fact that it comes with various protector mechanisms against electrical problems which will ensure that no fatal hard comes off from using the heater.
The machine supports a wide-angle soft air supply and can rotate up to 45 degrees. The bottom of the fuselage features a hidden air inlet design.
It should be noted that this is one of those products from Xiaomi’s smart home, in that the new small heater is not a home automation product, and as such, it needs to be used and controlled using the manual buttons on the device only, and cannot be controlled through smartphones or other smart devices. The pricing for this device too is very low. In China, the Xiaomi Mijia Desktop heater is priced at 119 yuan.
