Telegram, the popular messaging app among the Millenials has launched two Web apps – Telegram WebZ and Telegram WebK. This popular messaging platform always had a web app but it was not as much popular as the mobile app due to its lack of modern features and updates.

But, the new web apps from Telegram are much more updated with new animations, stickers, chat folders, and more. However, both of the apps come with almost identical features but with some differences in design and character.

The old Telegram web app did not support any of the native apps and did not offer features like stickers and voice calls. But WebZ and WebK Web Apps come with an updated view and have a bunch of things to offer.

Both of the apps are packed with smooth animations, support for stickers, chat folders, search, and more. Additionally, they also offer responsive interfaces that work well on phone screens. The apps were first spotted by DroidMaze. Both Telegram WebZ and Telegram WebK are available on Telegram’s official website for the users to download.

Though the apps are similar in terms of some features and specifications, there lie some differences too.

Difference between WebZ and WebK apps

For instance, both of them have different developers. The users can mute calls in the WebK app, but WebZ version does not have a mute option for the time being. While the search bar in the WebZ is grey in color, the search bar of WebK app is white.

WebZ app has a beautiful backgroung but, it does not have a bell icon to activate notifications. On the contrary, WebK offers a quick install shortcut in the address bar. Although the video calling feature is now live in both of the Telegram web apps, they still don’t have the ability to voice call.

About Telegram

Telegram became much popular among the mob after WhatsApp’s new privacy policy controversy. Likewise Telegram, WhatsApp’s web version to lacks many things, but it did introduce the voice calling feature a long time ago. Hopefully, Telegram will soon introduce the long-awaited voice calling feature and the new web apps will bridge the gap of competition in near future.

According to a TestingCatalog report, Telegram is currently testing the ability to schedule voice chats in channels. However, it is still in the beta version and Telegram might soon release the feature with its Telegram v7.7.0 update.

How to use Telegram’s new apps?

For now, let us see if the Telegram WebZ and Telegram WebK can keep up with the competitors or not. To use these apps, you need to have Telegram mobile apps installed in your smartphones. Once you download and log in through your phone numbers into any of these apps, you will receive a message in the Telegram mobile app with the code. You can also log in to the apps by scanning the QR code. Go check them out now!
