A set of NIO ET7 patent drawings was recently leaked to the media. NIO DAY’s new automobile is the company’s first sedan. At the start of the year, it was mentioned on NIO DAY. Between RMB 448,000 to RMB 52.6 million is the pricing range. The first wave of new automobiles is planned to arrive in 2022. The initial deliveries were made in the first quarter.
The new automobile is a follow-up to the Weilai ET Preview concept car, and it features a simple design throughout. Furthermore, the vehicle’s rear slip-back shape is exceptionally smooth, adding to the vehicle’s athletic mood.
The lidar and camera on the “overhead” of the vehicle, which can give drivers a larger field of vision, are the highlight of the NIO ET7 in terms of specifications.
The car contains four NVIDIA Orin chips, an ultra-high bandwidth picture interface, an ISP that can process 6.4 billion pixels per second, and computing power of 1016 TOPS. It is, without a doubt, the most powerful mass-produced mobile computing platform available. Tesla’s self-developed semiconductor, for example, has a computational power of 144 TOPS.
With a combined maximum power of 480kW, peak torque of 850Nm, and a 0-100km/h acceleration time of 3.9s, the NIO ET7 is a second-generation high-efficiency electric drive platform created with innovative materials and equipped with front and rear dual-drive motors.
The vehicle includes three battery packs with capacities of 70, 100, and 150 kWh each (currently unavailable). It has a cruising range of more than 500 kilometers, 700 kilometers, and 1000 kilometers under NEDC conditions.
