Some Pixel 6 and Pixel pro users who have updated to the February Google pixel latest update version are suffering WiFi breaks on their smartphones.

Recently, Google Pixel officially announced that it has released the monthly software update for February 2022. Thereby urging all Pixel users to update to the latest software updates starting from today.

According to the brand electronic devices, the software updates will be available for all Pixel device users running Android 12.

“All supported Pixel devices running Android 12 will receive these software updates starting today. The rollout will continue over the next week in phases depending on carrier and device. Users will receive a notification once the OTA becomes available for their device.  We encourage you to check your Android version and update to receive the latest software.” – Google Pixel.

However, some Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 pro users who have updated to the latest software version expressed their terrible experience via Twitter posts.

According to Pixel users who updated to the version today, tweeted:

Another Pixel user, who heard about the new development said in a tweet:

“The February 2022 update for Pixel 6 phones seems to have broken WiFi for some.

Users report that toggling WiFi on isn’t possible on these phones.

The issue doesn’t seem to be widespread right now though.”

Reacting to the tweet, another user responded thus:

“This is just extremely poor. People would’ve been up apple’s throat and pushed for a complete recall if they had something like this. But google is just deciding to ignore this like nothings wrong lol.”

Another Pixel 6 pro user, who didn’t experience WiFi broken said:

“My pixel six pro is luckily working with no issues at present before the update the quick menu wouldn’t come down it was stuck and the adaptive brightness would sometimes flash on the Lock Screen”

Meanwhile, a Twitter user has opined that the WiFi break may be a result of Tensor chips.

“I think it is happening all because of Tensor chips. The software is not optimized or ready for the tensor chips.”

Nevertheless, It should be noted that the WiFi breaking is not applicable to all users, as some Redditors and twice users have actually declared that their Wi-Fi is working simply great after the update. In all, it is clear that there is a bug of sorts impacting some individuals.
