Earlier this year, the Chinese multinational corporation, Realme unveiled the Realme Book Air in the China market. The laptop is identical to the Realme Book Enhanced Edition that debuted in the country initially. Just that the new model is designed to justify its name by offering a lighter build that is 1.37 kilograms in weight.
However, as we just discovered via a tweet from the popular reliable tipster, it seems the next-generation laptop is finding its way into the Indian market as the starting price had been leaked online. Aside from the price of the Realme Book Air that was leaked, several Realme product prices were also revealed. The likes of the Realme laptop sleeve, Realme silent Bluetooth dual-mode mouse, and Realme desktop laptop stand.
As per the report, the leaked images revealed that the new Realme Book Air of 8GB+256GB is launched at a starting price of ¥2999, while that of the 8GB+512GB variant will be priced at ¥3299.
However, the other products, like the Realme laptop sleeve are reportedly priced between ¥79 and ¥99, while the Realme silent Bluetooth dual-mode mouse is also going to price between ¥79 and ¥99 and the Realme desktop laptop stand is of higher price between ¥179 and ¥199.
Though the availability of the next-generation laptop and other new Realme products is unknown yet, as the leaker didn’t reveal the same, we hope to see it soon.
Realme Book Air Specifications
The Realme Book Air, like the Realme Book Enhanced Edition, has a 14-inch 2K (2,160×1,440 pixels) IPS display with a 3:2 aspect ratio, 400 nits peak brightness, and 100 percent sRGB color gamut. The Windows 11 laptop is also powered by an Intel Core i5-11320H CPU with a maximum clock speed of 4.5GHz and 16GB of LPDDR4x RAM.
Aside from the fact that the laptop comes with an 11th-generation Intel Core i5 processor and offers a 2K display, it also features two variants of 8GB+256GB and 8GB+512GB. For thermal management, there is also a vapour cooling (VC) chamber. Furthermore, the Realme Book Air includes Harman Kardon speakers with DTS sound technology. There’s also a backlit keyboard with a large touchpad and a power button with a fingerprint sensor.
The screen frame distinguishes the Realme Book Enhanced Edition from the Realme Book Air. The latter has a polyester polymer frame, whereas the former has a glass panel. This contributes to the Realme Book Air being lighter than the existing Realme Book Enhanced Edition.
The next-generation laptop has Thunderbolt 4, USB Type-C 3.2 Gen 2, USB Type-A 3.1 Gen 1, and a 3.5mm headphone jack for connectivity, and also supports Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth. Likewise, it comes with a 54Wh battery that supports 65W Power Delivery (PD) charging. The battery is claimed to provide up to 12 hours of normal usage on a single charge.
