Google search has been updated with an interactive periodic table that science students and enthusiasts will find absolutely useful in learning a whole lot more new stuff about the elements. One can easily find this interactive periodic table by searching for “periodic table” and clicking on the “explore elements” button on the right side of the page or by navigating to it directly by clicking HERE.

This new development has just made learning chemistry a lot more fun. For instance, clicking on an element would now give you a 3D model of that element, displaying its atomic mass, melting point, and most interestingly, including a short fact about each element clicked. Thallium, for example, was the murdered agent used in Agatha Christie’s novel. Who knew?

The interactive periodic table is not the only new feature being announced by Google. A few new features in Google Assistant have also been designed to assist families, including some updates to Family Bell reminders

When Family Bell reminder was launched last year, they could only play from Nest speakers and smart displays, but in just a matter of a few weeks now, they will be able to ring on mobile devices as well, says Google. Google further explained that sometime soon yet again, Family Bell on the Nest Hub will also be able to display sort of like a checklist the moment a Family Bell goes off. This will be a very useful method in remembering a set number of tasks.

Google will also be adding a way to set a unique routine right after you turn off your alarm in the morning. For instance, you could routinely check the news and weather forecast right after you wake up every morning. This feature will also be made available very soon, according to Google.
