Last month, through the TDRA certification website Honor’s next-generation tablet was spotted – the Honor Pad X9. The tablet will succeed last year’s Pad X8. The leak infers that the tablet is expected to have its launch by the end of this year and taking the case of Honor Pad X8 which arrived in September of 2022.
As we are anticipating the official launch date from the Chinese brand, the tablet has again been spotted to have received the SIRIM certification in Malaysia alongside the Smart Bluetooth keyboard. Tipster Mukul Sharma who confirmed the development shared the certification details in a recent tweet.
Unlike the last month’s TDRA certification which comes with an Equipment Registration No of ER20380/23 and has a model number, ELN-W09, the latest SIRIM certification featured REAK/81C/0623/S(23-2686) as the model number. Although the tipster did not provide any specifications, the duo certification suggests that the tablet will be a Wi-Fi-only tablet with no cellular connectivity just like its predecessor.
Honor Pad X9 Specs
Inferring from previous reports, the new Honor Pad X9 is expected to be powered by MediaTek MT8786 Chipset with a 2 GHz, Octa Core Processor. In terms of storage capacity, 4 GB RAM is expected therein with 64 GB Inbuilt Memory plus a dedicated memory card slot, up to 1 TB. While a 5500 mAh battery with 22.5W fast charging is likely to fill the device.
For the optical secession, a 13 MP rear camera of 2160p @ 30 fps UHD video recording will back the Honor Pad X9 tablet’s main camera, while an 8 MP will feature the front camera. Connectivities like Bluetooth v5.3, WiFi, and USB-C v2.0 are also expected. Android v13 out of the box will back the operating system, while the display is said to come with a 10.2 inch, LCD Screen of 1920 x 1200 pixels and 224 ppi.
