Instagram has long been known for its dedication to ensuring user convenience by introducing user-friendly features to improve the user experience. Instagram Reels is one of the platform’s most popular and intriguing features. The feature was first introduced in 2020, and the company has since added more ecstatic particles to improve the user experience.

In April, we reported that the social networking service rolled out 90-second long Reels similar to the TikTok feature of 3 minutes. Although, when the Reels were launched, the videos were just 15 seconds long. Regardless, the platform keeps upgrading to now have a 90-second long. Hence, this is commendable for enhancing users’ experience.

However, as we just discovered in a Twitter post from the popular, reliable Instagram leaker, the firm is currently working on the ability to capture photos and Reels from the same camera. Here, users will capture the duo functions from the same camera.

According to the social networking service, capturing photos and reels from the same camera can be done by using the toggle to switch between photos and reels, then tapping the circle to record a clip or snap a photo. Hence, many Instagram users will now be excited as they can now perform multiple functions from the same camera.

Meanwhile, it is a known fact that users can share their reels via direct message, story, or dedicated space on the Explore page with Instagram Reels. Reels, like TikTok videos, appear on the Explore page, and people who don’t even follow you can view your reels. This means that your clips can be discovered by the wider community whether you have a large or small audience.

Reels can also be created by uploading videos from your collection or recording a sequence of clips one by one. You can record the first clip by pressing and holding the capture button. However, with this new feature, users can now use the toggle to switch between photos and reels, then tap the circle to record a clip or snap a photo. Follow TechGenyz for more updates.
