In a bid to enhance its technology industry, today, the Chinese multinational technology company, Lenovo, has officially announced that it has fixed May 24th, 2022 as the official launch date of the new Lenovo’s Savior G-series monitors.

The new Lenovo’s Savior G-series monitor known as the G27 / G27q display, is 27 inches in size, with a QHD resolution, 165Hz refresh rate, 1ms reaction time, 99 percent sRGB color gamut, and 90 percent DCI-P3 color gamut, and two HDMI and A DP ports.

According to the Chinese tech giant the official price tag has not been announced yet, however, the price will be declared openly come May 24th at the official launch event.

Hence, it should be noted that earlier this year, during the CES2022, the tech giant announced some family monitors of the G-series – the G24qe-20 and the G27qe-20.

Lenovo designed the two displays to bid to more casual gamers who don’t want to spend a fortune on the top PC gaming monitors but still require strong hardware to play games smoothly.

The G24qe-20 boasts a QHD resolution of 2560×1440, which amounts to a good 123 pixels per inch (PPI). The 16:9 aspect ratio is still perfect for gaming, and the top and side bezels are small for a contemporary aesthetic.

With a 12-bit LUT for wide color, the IPS panel reproduces 99 percent sRGB and 90 percent DCI-P3. It features a brightness of up to 300 nits and an anti-glare coating. It is even gentler on the eyes with TÜV reduced blue light certification.

The G27qe-20 has a 27-inch screen, however, its 1440p resolution results in a lower PPI. Many gamers still like this size and resolution, and the 110Hz (OC) refresh rate, 1ms response time, and AMD FreeSync support ensure that everything looks fantastic. HDMI 2.0, DisplayPort 1.2, and 3.5mm audio are all options for users.

The G27, like its smaller sister, boasts a 12-bit LUT and 99 percent sRGB reproduction. There’s no word about color reproduction in DCI-P3. It boasts a slightly higher brightness of 350 nits and an anti-glare coating.

Therefore, one will be right to say that the new Savior G-series monitors are an updated version of the earlier G-series families, in terms of panel delivery, reproduction, gaming experience, display, and inches among others. Stay connected with TechGenyz for the latest technology news.
