Xiaomi Mi Redmi S2 is one of Xiaomi’s 2018 Mid-Budget smartphone. The device has a unibody Aluminum and plastic build. The model also has Corning Gorilla Glass Front protection and rear-mounted fingerprint sensor.

The Xiaomi Mi Redmi S2 smartphone has LTE Advanced antennas, with Dual SIM capability support for Nano-SIMs. The Xiaomi Mi Redmi S2 display features 5.99 inches IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen (720 x 1440 pixels resolution). The Xiaomi Mi Redmi S2 specifications come pre-installed with Android 8.1 Oreo (now upgradable to Android 9.0 Pie). The Xiaomi Mi Redmi S2 Camera features dual-rear cameras, one being a 12-megapixel f/2.2 main sensor while the other having a 5MP f/2.2 depth sensor with support for 1080p recording at 30 FPS and has PDAF. It also has HDR, Panoramic and Portrait mode for the rear camera. As for the front camera, Xiaomi Mi Redmi S2 features a 16MP f/2.0 front snapper. For night shots it has an LED flash on the rear and back.

In the area of connectivity, Xiaomi Mi Redmi S2 features Bluetooth (4.2), WiFi (802.11 b/g/n), with a 3.5mm audio jack port. Xiaomi Mi Redmi S2 has dimensions of 160.7 x 77.3 x 8.1 mm and gets a Non-removable Li-Ion 3080 mAh battery with 10W fast charging support. The Xiaomi Mi Redmi S2 colors are available in Gray, Gold, Rose Gold, Mesmerising Blue, and Stunning Black.
