Razer recently launched new smart glasses called the Sky Falcon smart glasses. The smart glasses will follow Bose, Amazon, and other companies by integrating audio speakers directly into glasses temples.

The company has used a truly wireless design, and the company claims that the frames of the smart glasses will allow more flexibility.

Razer has outfitted each side with a 16mm driver, and each side of the temple comes with touch-responsive tap gestures controls. It will let the users change tracks, answer calls, or activate a voice assistant.

The smart glasses are rated IPX4 water resistance. Razer says it has cut Bluetooth latency down to 60ms, so keeping the glasses out of the reach of water is important with this smart glass.

The glasses power down when folded shut, which gives the glasses up to two weeks of standby time. The company claims that smart glass has a battery life of up to 5 hours, almost the same as Bose, which offers 5.5 hours of battery life for its Tenor audio sunglasses.

The Razer smart glasses will be available in both rectangular and round framers. Both variants will come in two sizes: small and large.

Two sets of lenses come in the retail package: a regular, clear pair that offers 35 percent blocking against blue light, and Razer also throws in sunglass lenses with 99 percent UV protection. For those who use prescription lenses, Razer has partnered with Lensabl, which will cater to their needs.

There seems to be one negative point for the glasses. The company has proclaimed that anyone within an arm’s distance from the glasses can hear the music being played for the user.

Razer said that the Sky Falcon is a disruptive smart glasses that can protect the eyes while bringing immersive audio enjoyment. The smart glasses are priced at 1799 yuan.
