Google is officially an adult now and will no longer get away with teenage strops as the company celebrating its 18th birthday today. But there seems to be some confusion over the internet about the company’s actual birthday. Its feeling like caviling Google but everyone has same question arising in their mind that is it really Google’s birthday?
Today, on 27 September, Google have one of its merry “Google Doodles” up on its homepage wishing itself a happy birthday. Previously, Google had a Google Doodle on 27 September except in 2005, when company put it up on 26 September. And in 2004, when the search engine giant celebrated its birthday on 7 September that was contradicting to 2003 when it told the world 8 September as its birthday.
And company’s history itself says that they’ve registered Google.com on 15 September 1997 and filed for incorporation on 4 September 1998. One question arose by some sources is that, are they just celebrating today because it’s the anniversary of the first time Google put up their own birthday doodle, this day in 2002?
If Google seriously don’t know its birthday, then we doubt that it probably isn’t very good at organizing information.
