Ubisoft Entertainment is reportedly working on a VR game in which the gamers could be given a chance to become the crew members of the Parisian Fire brigade confronting the conflagration that vandalized the Notre Dame de Paris Cathedral back then in 2019.

Ubisoft unites with the film company Pathe to bring a VR game based on the documentary “Burning Notre de Dame” (Burning on fire) directed by Jean-Jacques Annaud, notable for his pictures (Enemy at the Gates, The Name of the Rose).

Players can enjoy the real-time one-hour virtual reality experience over the device. According to Ubisoft Notre-Dame on Fire, both the game and documentary will set the screens on fire on March 16. However, the Hardware with which we will play and watch is yet to be announced.

The Catholic cathedral of Notre-Dame de Paris (“Our Lady of Paris”) in Paris. While the Cathedral under construction burst into flame, the blaze was extinguished. The monument steeple had been demolished, and the building ceiling had faced the ground before having contact with heavy fire.

Its upper room divider was utterly met unprecedented damage; luckily, the main door of Notre Dame was well kept up. Moreover, the broken building received a revamp last year, and the people of Paris could expect to see Notre Dame as before the fire extinguisher in 2024.

Senior vice president of new business and strategic alliances at Ubisoft Deborah said .”Like any escape game, it’s a puzzle and a matter of collaborating with teammates,” added, “The idea is to go through Notre Dame to find artifacts and put out the fire, you have to save Notre Dame within a time limit.”

Furthermore, Ubisoft had placed comprehensive animations of Notre-Dame for Assassin’s Creed Unity. It claims it has been used to develop the Virtual reality experience named  Notre-Dame de Paris: Journey Back in Time, which is now available for free in the game.
