Over the years, the Chinese instant messaging and social media service WeChat has been expanding its platform with fascinating features to stand unique among its competitors. Back in 2011, the platform was awarded the world’s largest standalone mobile app with over 1 billion monthly active users through enhancing users’ experience.

Maintaining this standard, the social media service has revealed today that it has ushered the official Windows version 3.7.5 update featuring screen sharing during group video calls. According to the platform, the latest version is officially rolled out today, Friday, July 15th, for just 150.87MB only.

The new screen-sharing feature during group video calls will now be one of the most exciting features of the app, as it doesn’t have video or audio files initially. Therefore, users can now download the latest updates as it is now available. To download, users should open their WeChat official account and check the settings to get the latest official internal WeChat download.

Additionally, aside from the screen sharing features during group video calls. The new updates featured the file storage path that was previously requested by users. The file storage path has been restored, and newly received files by users will be returned to the file folder and arranged in the form of the date.

WeChat is a popular free messaging service that allows you to send and receive mobile messages even while sitting at a computer. The social media service is also multifunctional, going beyond file sharing and messaging to allow you to send your most recent selfies and photos.

Moreover, it provides users with a low-cost messaging service. If you sign up for an account using your mobile phone number, you will never have to pay for message airtime. You can see who’s already using it from your contacts with a single quick sync. The platform is great for sharing files with friends and coworkers. Follow TechGenyz for more updates.
