Xiaomi Redmi Note Pro 2 With Single Camera and Larger Battery Photos Leaked

Xiaomi August launched its flagship smartphone with China made OLED display and dual cameras, but it restricted the handset to its hometown. Now rumors suggest that the company is focusing on its extended version Redmi Note Pro 2. The leaks @Kjuma who is gradually building a reputation for genuine leaks posted a snapshot revealing tons of details of the upcoming device.

This time Xiaomi ditched the dual camera system and added only a single digital eye on the rear side which uses a better sensor with 12-mega pixel Sony IMX 362, 1/2.55 inch sensor, 1.4µm pixel, and dual autofocus. The phone will come with a brushed metal finish on the back.

The Redmi Pro 2 will be launched with a Snapdragon 660 processor this time. The Snapdragon 660 aka MSM 8976 Plus will take over from the 653 and 652 as the mid-range chip for 2017. The battery has been changed with size, as it is larger now with 4,500 mAh and the display appears to be bigger than 5.5-inches.

The Redmi Pro 2 will be available in two storage variants, the first is 4GB RAM with 64GB of built-in storage priced at $ 232(15658 INR) and the second is 6GB RAM with 128GB of storage priced at ¥1799 $ 262(17683 INR). Expect the prices to go higher when it launches although there is no concrete confirmation when the device will be launched.
