While the launch of the next iPhone is knocking on the door, Huawei comes up with a perfect rivalry. Huawei’s next mobile – the Huawei Mate 10 is going to have AI processing capabilities. This is the aim to outperform the iPhones.

Huawei is the third ranked phone maker in the industry presently. It has its own Kirin 970 chipset featuring AI processing abilities. In the process, the chipset will be the first NPU (neural processing unit) for the smartphones.

This is going to have better sensing abilities for the device. This will also surpass the need to rely on AI cloud for the activities of the device regarding its collection of data.

In the words of Richard Yu, Huawei has advantages over the likes of Apple and Samsung. He gave the statement at the IFA expo in Berlin. Yu is the chief of consumer products in Huawei.

In the context, this isn’t the first time Yu promised overtaking Apple. Earlier in July, he said that the Mate 10 would have supreme features that users always look for in mobile devices. The attributes such as long lasting, fast charging, and better cameras would be in Mate 10, as per promises of Yu.

Furthermore, the company claims that the Kirin 970 chip will provide 50% longer battery life for mobile devices. These are direct words of war of Huawei going out against the industry leaders Apple and Samsung. It would be interesting to see how the former fairs.

The Mate 10, succeeding Mate 9, is expected to arrive in the markets during mid-October this year. Considering all scenarios, 2017 looks like to have a grand year-end for the leading phone makers of the industry. We are waiting to see how much each of the companies can present to their passionate users.
