About an hour ago in a launch event in India, Vivo released the Vivo V7 which is power-packed with features like 24MP Clearer Selfie! In case you have missed the live event, we have come up with all the features the smartphone is packing.
Alongside the 24MP front camera, Vivo V7 provides you with Vivo’s own Face Beauty algorithm to offer ‘crystal-clear photos and natural facial enhancement.’ The traditional less powerful rear camera is also broken by the Chinese maker as the V7 has a 16MP rear camera with 64MP ultra-HD photo content capability. Both the cameras have f/2.0 aperture.
As for the display, the phone is almost bezel-less with 18:9 FullView IPS display and 83.6% screen-to-body ratio and only 2.15mm narrow bezels. The size is 5.7 inches with a screen of 720 x 1440 pixels, altogether ensuring immersive view.
The performance of Vivo V7 is supported by the processor Qualcomm Snapdragon octa-core 450 clocking at 1.8GHz, GPU of Adreno 506 and 4GB RAM. The internal memory is 32GB that can be expanded to 256GB by microSD and the phone has a dedicated slot. The operating system is the latest Android Nougat 7.1.2 that includes Funtouch OS 3.2.
As long as connectivity is concerned, the successor of Vivo V5 has 4G VoLTE, MicroUSB, Bluetooth 4.2 along with Wi-Fi and Hotspot. A rear-mounted fingerprint scanner, accelerator, proximity, gyroscope, and compass together compile the sensor department. Other ‘extraordinary features’ include Face Access, Smart Split 3.0 and App Clone.
Vivo V7 weighs 139 grams and has the body dimensions 149.3 x 72.8 x 7.9 mm, sporting a battery of 3000 mAh. The phone is quite similar to the Vivo V7+ that was launched in India back in September.
While V7+ is priced at Rs. 21,990 and the V7 has a rough price range of Rs. 18,300. The latter is termed as a Flipkart exclusive and can also be bought from physical stores as revealed in a tweet by Vivo India that says that you can pre-book now. Vivo V7 is available in two color variants, matte black, and champagne gold, and looks like a phone that values for the money.
