Samsung Focuses on Updating Galaxy S7 and Few Other Devices to Android Oreo

Two weeks ago, Samsung completed the Android 8.0 Oreo beta for its Galaxy S8. Now, their focus is on doing the same for several other devices. While Galaxy Note 8 is the brand’s new priority, they want to finish the Oreo updates for its Galaxy devices: S7, S7 Edge, A3, A5, and Tab S3.

The fansites of Samsung, GalaxyClub, and SamMobile have jointly confirmed these plans. Although, Samsung is yet to reveal on specific dates of the rollouts.

The coming weeks will likely see the latest Oreo update for Galaxy S8. On the whole, it would take months to have all of the mentioned devices receive the updates.

In this context, there has been no update on Galaxy Note 8 since its test firmware reports in December. Samsung seems to be playing its cards close to the chest for this one! Surprise awaiting?
