Motorola’s new flagship smartphone is all set to hit the market in India on February 15. On Friday, Lenovo-owned Motorola sent out media invites for the launch event of the Motorola Z2 Force. The smartphone will come with a Moto TurboPower pack for extra battery life and will also sport a shatterproof display from the company. The launch event will be streamed live on Motorola’s Youtube Channel.

The formal invitation confirms that the Motorola Z2 Force will include Moto TurboPower pack Mod that was debuted with “the biggest battery life, a shatterproof screen, and an ultra-fast processor.” Moto Z2 Force was launched in July 2017 in the US and went on to sale through various carriers in August with a starting price of $799 (approximately Rs. 51,460).

Now, Motorola brings the smartphone to India though it has not announced any details regarding the price of the smartphone. The Moto TurboPower Pack Mod is bundled with 3500mAh battery and supports 15W output to offer fast charging. The Mod has affirmed to deliver up to seven hours of battery life within 15 minutes of charge. To highlight its specifications, the phone is designed with a 7000 series aluminum build that has a unibody design. If one accidentally drops the phone it won’t crack or damage as the phone offers a shatterproof display. Moto Z2 Force was launched in three colors in 2017: Black, Gold, and Grey.

The smartphone is based on Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor clocked at 2.35 GHz and Adreno 540 GPU. It will come in 4GB RAM+64GB storage or 6GB RAM +128GB. In terms of display front, Moto Z2 Force has a 5.5-inch Quad HD (2560 x 1440) Super AMOLED one. The only drawback is that it does not have 18:9 display. There is a dual camera set up with 12-MP cameras on the back and a 5MP selfie camera with LED flash.

The smartphone will come on Android 7.1.1 Nougat and is backed by a 2730mAh battery. The smartphone has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC. The new Moto Z2 Force is dust and water resistant and the fingerprint sensor is along with the home button. The handset measures 155.8x76x 6.1mm and weigh 143 grams. However, the phone has no headphone jack just like the Apple iPhone7.
