Yesterday, February 27, Chinese blog iThome came up with latest circulating images of OnePlus 6 that suggest the smartphone bearing an iPhone-ish notch on the top. It also packs a vertical rear dual camera setup and an edge-to-edge display.
The images give out that the phone will showcase a glass body design, along with a bezel-less display. Notch design borrowed from iPhone is probably for the front selfie camera setup and face unlock sensors. The rear panel features a fingerprint sensor below the dual camera, and of course the OnePlus logo below the sensor.
The report as well provides info on OnePlus 6 specs, stating that it packs 6GB RAM and 64GB inbuilt. Having model number P7819, it is supposed to run Android 8.1 Oreo. These details are of course so far unconfirmed, and we have to wait for more authentic sources.
It is expected that OnePlus 6 mobile will consist of Qualcomm Snapdragon 845, as the company said during the CES this year. The phone is to launch by late Q2 of 2018, and a mid-year launch upgrade via OnePlus 6T is not confirmed yet, as said by CEO Pete Lau back in January.
