Motorola Android Go smartphone

The Moto C2 is the first Android Go smartphone from Motorola. More and more manufacturers have a cheap model in the range that runs on the Android Go platform of Google. Consider, for example, the new Nokia 2.1. Samsung also has an Android Go smartphone in development, the Samsung Galaxy J2 Core. In addition, manufacturers such as Alcatel, Asus, and ZTE have a smartphone running on this relatively new OS.

The Google Android Go operating system is optimized for smartphones with limited hardware. Think of devices with 1GB of RAM or less. The OS is more energy-efficient because unnecessary apps are left out. You also save up to 60% on your mobile data with Android Go.

However, Motorola is known to release relatively few OS updates or security updates. That will certainly not be different from this budget model. The chance is also present that the device will never receive the Android P update. Nonetheless, with Android Oreo, you will still be safe in the near future.

Motorola budget smartphone met 5,2″ display

The Motorola Moto C2 with model number XT1920 has previously been certified for the European and Asian market. This showed that the device has 1 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal memory. These specs clearly include a budget smartphone.

The dimensions are 147.88 x 71.22 mm, from this it can also be seen that the device probably has a 5.2-inch display. The current Moto C has a 5-inch display, the new model seems to accommodate a slightly larger screen. In addition, this budget phone from Motorola will have a battery capacity of about 2,100 mAh.

Motorola Moto C smartphone series

The first Moto C-series smartphone was unveiled on May 2017. The Moto C has a 5-inch display with an 854 × 480 pixel resolution. The device is powered by a quad-core MediaTek processor with 1GB of RAM. There is also a 5MP camera and a 2MP front camera. A 2.350 mAh battery is installed for the energy supply. The Motorola Moto C is available with 8GB and 16GB of storage.

Almost simultaneously the Moto C Plus was unveiled last year, this device has the same display. The Plus variant has more memory, 2GB RAM and 16GB storage memory. And there is a better camera built-in, with 8MP resolution. The battery is also much more powerful with 4,000 mAh capacity.

When the new Motorola Moto C2 is announced is as yet unknown. Now that the device has received the necessary certificates for Europe, America, and Asia, it seems to be an introduction.
