Realme took to their official Twitter handle to announce the launch of their latest smartphone, the Realme 3, at 12:30 P.M. today. Established as an independent brand just last year, Realme has already expanded to a consumer base of 5 million users and is spread over 3000 stores in 35 cities.
The latest addition to Realme’s list of smartphones is the Realme 3, with a 6.2-inches dew-drop display and a frame as thin as 2.05 mm. With an aspect ratio of 19:9, the display covers almost the entire anterior of the phone. It has also been equipped with a Content Adaptive Brightness Control (CABC) screen optimization mode, besides 450 nits of brightness, to ensure optimal battery consumption.
Internally, the device is being powered by 4×cortex A-73 and 4×cortex A-53 CPU, clocking a speed of up to 2.1 GHz. Besides this, the Realme 3 has also been equipped with a Mall-G72 MP3 GPU with a rate of up to 9000 MHz, 3-core ISP, multi-core APU, and 12 nm Helio P70 production process that combines efficiency with power. The Helio P-70 processor is helping the device become the frontrunner in gaming and AI ability; the Realme 3 is also leading the segment in frame rates and battery endurance, being the best phone for gaming in its segment.
In the camera department, the Realme 3 has been furnished with a dual rear camera setup comprising of a 13 MP primary sensor with f/1.8 aperture and 5p lens and a 2MP secondary sensor with f/2.4 aperture and 5p lens. Among effects, the cameras boast of PDAF fast focusing, bokeh effect, multi-frame noise reduction, hybrid HDR, and AI scene recognition. The cameras also boast of Chroma boost and Nightscape to help photography lovers click a perfect shot full of vivid colors even at night. And with a 13 MP selfie camera, the device identifies 296 facial recognition points to capture the perfect selfie.
The device is powered by Color OS 6.0 based on out-of-the-box Android 9 Pie. A borderless design combined with penetrating colors is expected to provide users with the stock Android experience by making the UI visually appealing. Among additional features, the Realme 3 has been equipped with a Moto Ride Mode to allow users to turn off all notifications and auto-reply to messages from a selected list of contacts to make driving a safer experience for Realme 3 users. Its AI board is there to provide sports enthusiasts with the latest updates regarding cricket and football scores. And for tech enthusiasts, the Realme 3 Color OS 6.0 is capable of accessing the API2 interface for 3rd party apps while also being able to unlock the bootloader. Finally, the device has undergone 85 tests in 130 different scenarios to ensure that it is splash and dust proof, among other qualities.
With a diamond-cut design on the back, the device can be accessorized with cases in shades of Dynamic Black, Radiant Blue, & Classic Black. The crystal-patterned case flashes the iconic logo, has precise cut-outs, and comes with wrist attachments. Made of durable materials, the cases will be available at a price as low as Rs. 599.
Realme 3 has been provided with a triple slot structure, with two for dual 4G SIMs and one for an sd card for enhanced storage memory. It receives its power from a 4230 mAh battery. The device is available in prices of Rs. 8,999 for the 3GB+32GB variant and Rs. 10,999 for the 4GB+64GB variant.
