In October last year, the company Xiaomi released the smartphone Xiaomi Mi Mix 3, and very soon, an updated version of the device will be released, which can work in networks of the fifth generation, as hinted by a teaser. A teaser has been released by Xiaomi in the Chinese web post that suggests the coming of Mi MIX 4.
However, Xiaomi hasn’t revealed anything regarding the Mi MIX 4 model. The image suggests that it is the next flagship model in the series. In October 2016, Xiaomi launched the Mi MIX concept phone with ceramic rear and tri-bezel-less display. The Mi MIX 2 that was unveiled in November 2017 arrived with the same design.
Some external reports suggest that the teased Mi MIX series phone could either be Mi MIX 3S – the successor to the Mi MIX 2S – or the Mi MIX 4. Going by the media reports, the Mi MIX 4 is more likely, considering the company has already launched the 5G version of the Mi MIX 3 last month. The Chinese smartphone manufacturer has yet to reveal an official detail of the Mi MIX 4 if that’s the phone.
This new Xiaomi phone is rumored to sport a triple rear camera setup and will reportedly come with a Snapdragon 855 SoC along with 5G support. We can also safely expect a large screen-to-body ratio, which has so far been one of the highlights of the Mi Mix family.
However, in October last year, Xiaomi brought the Mi Mix 3 which debuted with a slider design. Considering this, we can expect the new phone to launch in autumn though nothing is official yet.
