Opera developers have released the iPhone’s new version – Opera Touch -. The application implements most of the technologies for “Web 3.0“, which appeared in April of this year in the desktop version of the updated browser.

Now in Opera for iOS, there is a cryptograph, as in the Android version and applications for Windows and Mac. The developers say that it allows you to directly and seamlessly interact with distributed Web 3.0 applications implemented on the Ethereum blockchain. In other browsers, you need to install extensions, such as MetaMask.

The description of Opera Touch for iOS says that it supports all ERC-20 tokens, steylcoin, and non-interchangeable tokens. Installing a browser allows you to use blockchain applications by simply entering their address. Also, the browser is equipped with a built-in VPN, can switch between light and dark versions of the design and provides access control using Face ID or Touch ID.

The award-winning Opera Touch browser for iOS is updated to version 1.9.0 and now offers an Ethereum wallet and full support for Web3 technology. Charles Hamel, head of the crypto section of Opera, said:

We believe that all modern browsers must integrate a cryptocurrency wallet. This will allow new business models to emerge on the web. Opera is the first browser to make the use of cryptocurrencies on the web simple and intuitive. Following a strong request from the community, we are making this experience available also on iOS. – Charles Hamel, head of the crypto

Hamel then continued:

Before Opera entered the crypto scene almost a year ago, the use of online cryptocurrencies and access to Web3 required special apps or extensions, which made it difficult for people to even try it. Our browsers remove these barriers. – Hamel

Opera has partnered with a new app called Marble Cards to celebrate the important update. It turns web pages into digital collectible cards. Almost all Internet URLs can be turned into a card only once. Collector cards are, therefore, non-fungible tokens (NFT) present on the Ethereum blockchain.
