Realme 5 Pro was unveiled in India last month alongside Realme 5, and both of these smartphones went on sale today on the Realme website and on Flipkart.

Realme Q has been launched in China, and its specifications are similar to that of the Realme 5 Pro available here in India. It just so happens that Realme Q is a rebranded Realme 5 Pro for the Chinese market.

The Realme Q runs on Snapdragon 712 SoC, sports a 6.3-inch FHD+ display and supports VOOC 3.0 fast charging. The smartphone comes in two variants, the 6GB+ 64GB, and the 8GB+ 128 GB.

The Realme Q retains the waterdrop notch at the top of the smartphone, and it houses the selfie camera. Following the latest trends of smartphones, Realme Q also has thin bezels all around its body which offers a 90.6% screen-to-body ratio.

As its operating system, Realme Q has ColorOS 6 which is based on Android 9 Pie. It features a 4,035 mAh battery which is expected to last up to a day on a single charge. Realme made it a point to showcase the fact that Realme has features like HyperBoost 2.0, GameBoost and AppBoost.

The Realme Q has a quad-camera setup on its rear side. The primary camera is of 48 MP with Sony IMX586 sensor. There is also one 8 MP ultra-angle camera, a 2 MP macro lens, and a 2 MP depth sensor. As for its selfie camera, it is of 16MP with Sony IMX471 sensor.

The camera has a lot of features packed into one whole. Realme boasts about the fact that its camera supports features like Nightscape, Chrome Boost, HDR, PDAF and Super Slow-mo video recording at 960fps.

For the base model, the price starts at CNY 998. However, prices vary for the other two variants, and the 6GB+64GB variant is priced at CNY 1,198 and the 8GB+128Gb variant is priced at CNY 1,498.

In India, the two variants of the smartphone are available at the price of Rs. 14,999 (for the 6GB+64Gb variant) and at Rs. 16,999 (for the 8GB+128GB variant.) It is available in two colors: Chrystal Blue and Sparkling Blue.

The Realme Q is available for purchase in China through the Realme.com website.
