Vivo Y5s Smartphone Is Launched In China

Vivo launched a new smartphone in China in the Y-series - Vivo Y5s with AI triple rear cameras, a massive battery and more.

The Vivo Y5s smartphone is a rebranded version of the recently launched Vivo Y19 in Thailand. It has a 6.53-inch full HD+ display. This display comes with Waterdrop Style Notch, which has a selfie camera fitted. This includes the MediaTek Helio P65 SoC, which is an octa-core processor.

Vivo Y5s smartphone has 6GB RAM and 128GB storage. This smartphone comes with a fingerprint sensor, which is given in the back of the phone. The handset packs an Helio P65 SoC, instead of a Snapdragon 675 SoC that is currently powering the Vivo U3 phone.

Talking about the Vivo Y5s camera, it is packed with the triple camera setup which includes a 16-megapixel main camera with f/1.78 aperture, paired with an 8-megapixel wide-angle snapper and f/2.2 aperture. It also comes with a 2-megapixel sensor for depth sensing. Vivo Y5s's screen uses advanced LTPS production technology, combined with more advanced in-cell screen bonding technology so that the screen can display a more beautiful, transparent, bright picture, giving users a better visual enjoyment.

In terms of charging, the 18W dual-engine flash charging adopts the 9V/2A specification, which provides fast charging while reducing the heat generation during charging and brings a better charging experience.

Launched in China, the smartphone carries a price tag of RMB 1,489 (approximately Rs 15,050). Vivo Y5s will be available in 6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage option and is available at the price of 1,498 Yuan.
