Before resolving the conflict with the US administration and Google, Huawei got stuck on the Kirin 710 in its budget and mid-level smartphones. The most popular Honor smartphone – Honor 9x – is equipped with a 48-megapixel camera and a retractable front camera, and all the same, is in the latest Huawei Y9s smartphone. The device has already appeared on the official website of Huawei.

The smartphone, alas, joined the ranks of models with the SoC Kirin 710, not 810: Google’s certification of services for this platform continues to operate, so models intended for sale on foreign markets are equipped with the Kirin 710 instead of the Kirin 810. The amount of RAM and built-in flash memory amount to 6GB and 128 GB respectively, the battery capacity is 4000 mAh (maximum charging power is 10 W).

There is a triple mounted on the back panel. The main sensor of this is 48 MP with aperture f / 1.8, while the other two sensors are a wide-angle of 8 MP with aperture f / 2.4 and a field of view of 120 ° and 2 MP with aperture f / 2.2. The 16 MP selfie camera of the Huawei y9s will be implanted in a pop-up box to avoid using a notch or perforation in the panel with an aperture of F / 2.2.

Huawei Y9s is a smartphone that comes with a FullHD+ UltraView screen display of 6.59 inches diagonally. So the screen-to-body ratio is specified, but it is likely to be 19.5: 9, so the panel resolution would be 2,340 x 1,080 pixels. It seems that this, in addition, is IPS LCD technology because the fingerprint reader does not have it integrated; instead, it is located on the right side of the device, on the power and lock button, just below the volume buttons.

The operating system it will bring is unknown. If it will be the EMUI 9.1 based on Android 9 or direct with EMUI 10 based on Android 10. For now, it is not known where it will be sold or its price.
