Poco X2 Smartphone

POCO phone F1 was the result of the company’s first collaboration with Xiaomi in 2018. After that, they didn’t launch any specific products together. However, POCO is coming forth as an individual company in 2020 with its new POCO X2 smartphone.

POCO has recently launched a teaser featuring the upcoming POCO X2. The smartphone’s initial launch date is February 4 and we have a lot of expectations from this one.

There are a lot of rumors going around regarding the new POCO X2. Considering how the previous Poco phone F1 was a mass favorite, POCO X2 has also created a hype among the crowd.

A Geekbench report previously showed POCO X2 which turned out having extreme similarities with Redmi K30. After POCO confirmed the release of its X2 smartphone, there are major leaks going around the internet.

Possible specifications

A Geekbench report shows that POCO X2 has scored 547 points in single-core mode, while in multi core’s score is 1757. Speculations have it that the POCO smartphone will also have the Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G processor, just like the Redmi K30. Additionally, it can also feature the advanced cooling system like its predecessor as per the reports.

According to the reports, the new POCO X2 will have the initial 6GB/ 64GB RAM variant and later the 8GB/ 256GB variant will also be included.

The smartphone will have a 6.67-inch with FHD + resolution. It may include a 120Hz refresh rate which is good news for mobile game lovers.

POCO X2 will also feature Quad cameras like many other recently launched phones. It will have the main 64MP rear camera with a Sony IMX686 sensor, a secondary 8MP with an ultra-wide-angle lens, a 2MP for macro photos and a 2MP to capture data on the depth.

The POCO X2 will surely have a great battery back up as the company confirmed it to be having a 4500mAh battery with 27W fast charge support. The teaser also claims that the smartphone is able to charge up 40% within only 25 minutes. Reports also show the smartphone is having NFC and a 3.5mm audio jack.

The price of POCO X2 isn’t announced yet but it could retail around INR 18,999 reportedly. The smartphone will be available on Flipkart after its initial launch on February 4th.
