The Poco X2 has finally launched, and it is not from the Poco F1 line-up as it was rumored to be. However, the new smartphone is a rebranded Redmi K30 which launched in China in January 2020.
The Poco X2 features a 6.7-inch Full-HD+ LCD display screen with an aspect ratio of 20:9. It has 2400x 1080 pixels, a 120Hz refresh rate, and a Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection.
The pocket-friendly smartphone follows the latest trend regarding the mounting of the rear cameras. The smartphone features a quad-camera setup with a 64-megapixel Sony IMX686 1/1.7-inch sensor, a 6P lens system offering an f/1.89 aperture, and a 5-megapixel macro lens, a 2-megapixel depth sensor, and an 8-megapixel sensor with 120-degree wide-angle lens. There is a dual selfie camera setup with a 20-megapixel main sensor and a 2-megapixel depth sensor.
The smartphone sports a 4,500mAh battery with 27W fast charging support. Other features include a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, NFC, dual-SIM slots, IR blaster, P2i water repellant coating, USB Type-C port, a 3.5mm audio jack, and it runs on MIUI 11 based on Android 10.

The smartphone will be available in three variants with 6GB RAM and 64GB storage, 6GB RAM and 128GB storage, and 8GB RAM with a 256GB storage variant. The internal storage could be expanded using the microSD card slot. The phone will be available in three color options – Matrix Purple, Phoenix Red, and Atlantis Blue.
It should be mentioned that Poco is no longer a Xiaomi sub-brand, and the Poco team is headed towards new strategies under the guidance of C Manmohan. Pricing for the smartphone starts at Rs. 15,999 for the 6GB+ 64 GB storage variant. The 6GB RAM+ 128GB storage, and the 8 GB RAM + 256 GB storage are priced at Rs. 16,999 and Rs. 19,999.
